HeartLand Farm & Lawn was established in 2003.  The company began with a buy out of the family owned Anson Implement in Higginsville.  Anson Implement sales manager, Kevin Hemme along with partners Kent Dorsch and Curt Beerman purchased Anson Implement and began HeartLand Farm & Lawn.  One year later, a new dealership was built in Centerview with a grand opening in August 2005.  And the most recent addition to  HeartLand Farm & Lawn is the Carrollton location.  On September 5, 2006 Carroll County Equipment merged with HeartLand Farm and Lawn.  Owner of Carroll County Equipment, Tom Zapp, is now a  board member and a part of management within the company.
