INTRODUCING...Aaron Plattner

At the end of each year we sit down to determine the changes in our business. Like your business, there are numerous items on our list.  However, there is a segment of our business that continues to be at the top of our list, global based positioning equipment (AMS). It is our expectation to have over 250 units in the field by the end of 2009.  This equipment is new-age and technical in nature. Therefore, we are committing one employee to assure success with these products.

Heartland Farm & Lawn is proud to announce the employment of Aaron Plattner as our AMS Specialist.  AMS (Ag Management Solutions) is the John Deere phrase used to encompass all GPS based equipment.  As the AMS Specialist, Aaron will be working with our sales staff and you, the customer, to recommend the right equipment, ensure order accuracy, assure proper installation by our service department, and assist in setup. 

Aaron brings an extensive background to this new position.  With a business degree from Baker University and a life-long history of operating John Deere machinery in Grand Pass on his family farm, Aaron understands the challenges you may have with production efficiencies and technology. Aaron has completed all levels of AMS training through John Deere, and he also understands the competitive brands on the market. 

We will be the first to admit John Deere was reluctant to update from their original product entry, the “brown box” but the wait was well worth it with the rapid improvements since the introduction of the GS2600 color touch screen from John Deere.  We now feel that John Deere offers the most advanced and complete line of GPS equipment on the market, and we are willing to hire one employee to focus on making your experience successful so you can see the difference in your bottom-line.
